My name is Riley Vagis, I am a mezzo-soprano vocal performer. I’ve just recently graduated from The University of Houston with my masters in performance. Recent performances at University Houston include La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica and Zita in Gianni Schicchi. I also worked with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society these last two summers as Zorah in Ruddigore and Leila in Iolanthe. A major recent accomplishment was winning first place in the Comic Opera Guild competition in Ann Arbor, Michigan. As for non-music facts, I am working as a library supervisor at the MD Anderson library at University of Houston and am planning to get my masters in library science.
