Houston-based tenor, pianist, and educator Benjamin Rorabaugh is thrilled to be returning to Opera in the Heights as Henrik Egerman in A Little Night Music. Last season, he enjoyed covering the role of Edgardo and singing in the chorus of Lucia di Lammermoor. Locally, Rorabaugh has also sung with Houston Grand Opera, Houston Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and Operativo Houston. Praised for his “blissful naïveté” (Arts Knoxville), Rorabaugh has sung roles including Ralph (HMS Pinafore), Travis (Lamb - Heartbreak Express), Harlequinade (Salieri - Harlequinade), Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus), and the Vanderdender (Candide). He currently teaches middle school choir at the Presbyterian School of Houston.
