Welcome to our 2022-23 season, a cause for genuine celebration!
We celebrate 25 years of making one-of-a-kind opera in the Heights, and invite you to envision with us our next 25 years. We are immensely happy to report that Opera in the Heights will remain long-term tenants at Lambert Hall. The venue, newly acquired by Houston Saengerbund, will undergo immediate enhancements throughout the season, but the true transformation will be happening over the next few years (stay tuned!). We can't think of a better way to kick off this season than with Donizetti's sweet-as-can-be Elixir of Love, followed by our festive holiday short film series DOC the Halls: Decameron Opera Coalition Holiday Songbook, then Verdi's dark and stormy classic Rigoletto, and to wrap it all up, our 25th Anniversary All-Star Concert, featuring our wonderful OH Orchestra and some of our favorite singers from seasons past.
