Puccini: Tosca

A loving couple who live for their art, a ruthless man driven by power, and one of the most shocking conclusions in all of opera.

Tosca, the fiery prima donna, and Cavaradossi, a painter who sides with the political revolution in Rome, are devoted lovers. They suddenly find their lives turned upside down when Cavaradossi is captured and held at the mercy of Scarpia, the corrupt police chief of Rome. Scarpia will stop at nothing to possess Tosca, as she takes a final stand for what she holds most dear: freedom, art, and love.

Warning: This opera contains dramatized depictions of torture and sexual assault in Act 2, as well as simulated gunfire in Act 3.
