Each fall we experience new beginnings at Opera in the Heights. Excitement begins with the arrival of young artists who are talented singers from around the United States and abroad. They come here to learn and perform a major role in one of our four season productions. By adding a major role to their resumes, they can sustain their careers and move on to larger houses. Here we ensure and applaud their successes.

Here seasoned opera lovers and newcomers experience music at its best in an intimate space seating 300, historic Lambert Hall in the Houston Heights. Opera is about telling a story and experiencing life through music. There are many ways that you can support us as you will discover by reading further and helping us “Raise Funds to Raise the Curtain” at Oh!
