Bizet: Les Pêcheurs de Perles
An untamable obsession, a pact betrayed, the fury of a village, and an act of ultimate selflessness.
Approximate run time is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
This opera production will have one 15 minute intermission.
Featured in late winter will be Bizet's beguiling Les Pêcheurs de Perles (The Pearl Fishers), a story of friendship and betrayal set in the Far East, with a lush, powerful score that could only have come from the composer of Carmen.
