Business Administration Intern
Internships with Opera in the Heights are competitive. If you are interested in applying for an internship, you will be asked to go through an interview process, similar to a job interview. This gives you an opportunity to prepare, and treat the internship experience as if it were a full-time job.
If chosen, you will be asked to devote 12 hours per week to your internship during a spring or fall semester. If your internship is during the summer semester, you will be asked to work 15 hours per week. While internships are unpaid, the knowledge that you gain through the internship is a valuable reward.
Opera in the Heights offers interns an opportunity for a well rounded experience and on-the-job training. As a business administration intern, you will spend the majority of your time in the Operations & Patron Services department. However, interns have the additional opportunity to spend time with Production and Development. This is to ensure that interns gain an intimate understanding of how all departments work together to create successful events and experiences.
